The K-80 SuperSport is a concept developed in response to the needs of FITASC and top level Sporting shooters. These disciplines require precise repeatable handling, with instinctive pointing ability, low recoil and ultra fast recovery between shots. Absolute reliability is a must.
We recognised that the K-80 was already very close to the perfect FITASC gun and the introduction of the new 32" choke-tubed barrels, with their improved weight distribution, was the catalyst that brought it all together.
The new barrel featured a 10-6 mm tapered rib for improved pointing yet retained elevated profile that places the eye above the clutter at the breech end. Additional work in the muzzle area had given these barrels a much improved weight distribution. The introduction of the titanium series choke tubes provided another opportunity to loose weight right on the muzzle. These pure titanium chokes are 20% lighter than the original factory steel chokes yet are considerably longer. The extra length assists pattern quality, especially from high velocity loads, and provides a more convenient surface area for choke removal. To compliment these chokes we use a lighter than normal front hanger that save important grams right on the muzzle. We offer this in conventional blued steel or pure titanium. It should be noted that the titanium version is a full 5 grams lighter than even the skeleton steel version although for some the more conventional appearance of the steel hanger is preferred.

To maximise the potential we individually hand balance every SuperSport. This is necessary as any gunmaker worthy of the name can control barrel and receiver weights within close tolerances but wood weight is the one variable in a top quality gun. The weight we add to the stock is cast into a tube and located as low down in the stock as possible. This keel effect assists greatly in mounting the gun and has the added benefit of leaving the stock-bolt hole free of obstruction. As standard, we choose to leave a slightly weight forward feel, we believe this aids gun control, but we are happy to balance the gun to the owner's individual requirements. The weight is held in place by an easily accessible screw underneath the recoil pad.
The SuperSport, as standard, is fitted with an adjustable comb stock to allow the owner to fine tune the gun fit. The gun is shipped in an aluminium case covered with a hard wearing black cordura case cover.
